DAY

SANTIAGO / CASABLANCA / VALPARAISO

Stroll down a vineyard in Casablanca and savour the wine from this second biggest wine region of Chile. Take a walking tour of the UNESCO site of Valparaiso through the pier, colourful neighbourhoods and ride the furniculars and trolleybus.

Optional Activity: Meet a local artist and paint your own mural

VALPARAISO / SANTIAGO / CALAMA /

SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA

Fly to Calama and drive to the colourful San Pedro de Atacama. Venture to the Death and Moon Valley boasting incredible stone and sand formations.

Optional Activity: Stargaze and decipher the night sky

SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA

Optional Activity: Hot-Air Balloon over the Atacama Desert

Explore the archaeological site of Yerbas Buenas and continue to the Rainbow Valley's multi-coloured rock formation. Discover the Atacama Salt Lake formed millions of years ago.

DAY

SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA

Head to the El Tatio geysers, the highest geothermal field in the world boasting spectacular scenery. Stop at the tiny Andean hamlet of Machuca, known as the resting place for llama caravans that travelled on the Inca Highway. Soak in the natural thermal pools of Puritama Hot Springs.

SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA / SANTIAGO /

PUERTO MONTT / PUERTO VARAS

Fly to Puerto Montt. Drive to Puerto Varas located on the shores of Llanquihue Lake, one of Chile's largest lake with great views of the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes.

PUERTO VARAS / FRUTILLAR / PUERTO VARAS

Visit Frutillar, a city founded by German settlers and be taken away by the Chilean-German cultural mix in this UNESCO city guarded by volcanoes.  Visit the Colonial German Museum to learn of the town's history and stroll down the streets by Lake Llanquihue.

DAY

PUERTO VARAS / ANCUD / CASTRO

Cross the Chacao Channel by ferry to the island of Chiloe. Visit the town of Ancud famous for its museum and the San Antonio Fortress. Take another ferry to Punihuil Islands to see the only nesting grounds in the world where Humboldt and Magellan breed side by side. Continue to Castro for a walking tour of the vibrant market and iconic stilt houses known as Palafitos.

DAY

CASTRO / ROUTE OF THE CHURCHES / CASTRO

Visit the Route of the Churches. Start from Quemchi, museum and home of Francisco Coloane, one of Chile's best literary writers. Head to Aucar Island, named by Coloane as the "Island of Sailors' Spirits". Visit the 3 churches, all designated UNESCO sites: Colo, Tenaun and Dalcachue.

CASTRO / PUERTO MONTT / PUNTA ARENAS / PUERTO BORIES

Fly to Punta Arenas then drive to your hotel in Puerto Bories. Go on a walking tour of The Singular Patagonia, declared a national monument in 1996.

DAY

PUERTO BORIES / TORRES DEL PAINE

Early today, transfer to the picturesque Torres del Paine National Park and spend the next 3 nights at an all-inclusive lodge. We recommend the "Base Torres" hike which is challenging but also the most rewarding with up-close view of the "torres", next to a glacial -carved lagoon.

TORRES DEL PAINE

Another well-loved hike we recommend is the "Valle del Frances" hike where you ascend steep moraines and if lucky, witness roaring ice breaking off the Frances glacier. Farther up and you'll meet the imposing peaks and granite rock face. You may also choose from other excursions such as horse-riding and gentle hikes.

DAY

TORRES DEL PAINE / PUNTA ARENAS / SANTIAGO

Fly back to Santiago and take a city tour of the old quarter and the bohemian district of Bellavista. Check out the nightlife on a bar-hopping tour and taste some local craft beer, Chilean wine, pisco sours and local snacks.
